our story
lelo: a duo of experienced professionals
We are now ‘retired’ as a creative team. Judi fully retired and Angie still designing, but also now persuing her love as an abstract artist. We worked on the premise that ‘the whole is greater than the sum of its parts,’ with complementary skills, experience and capabilities. We came together as a ‘virtual team’ of two (or more when required, bringing in further expertise such as photographers, project managers, information architects and website builders when necessary).
Judi is a former journalist who has spent more than 20 years working in advertising, commercial copywriting and Public Relations consultancy. She has worked with a diverse range of local, national and multi-national organisations, including AstraZeneca, Philips, Cambridge Consultants, The Technology Partnership, and Novartis (Ciba Agriculture). Judi was also editor of the website developed for the Cambridge Network – an innovative business networking community. In addition, she has been involved in graduate recruitment communications, writing award-winning brochures, presentations, websites and marketing campaign materials for clients such as Baker Hughes, BP, BP Solar, Logica, Bank of Scotland, HM Treasury, Lovells, The Home Office Fast Stream, Lloyds TSB, Clifford Chance, Allen & Overy and BNP Paribas.
How we worked
We worked independently, so you chose and bought the services you needed
We offered advice on communications strategy – based on many years’ collective experience in advertising, direct mail, PR and marketing – and worked with you to develop the right tactics to help you reach your target audiences in a compelling, memorable way.
Angie still provides a design service, often now working with in-house writers and her main site is at fuz.co.uk. We delivered as a team the tools and materials your business needed, including:
- Corporate and product identity
- Corporate guidelines (design and editorial)
- Printed documents – company, product or recruitment brochures, newsletters, direct mail and marketing collateral
- Electronic media – websites and e-newsletters or e-zines
